Jurong Spring Community Club

Jurong Spring Community Club (CC), nestled in the Jurong Spring Division, is located at Jurong West Street 52. The CC is a home to many interest groups, bringing people together and making it a hive of activities in the western part of Singapore.


The newly upgraded Jurong Spring Community Club (CC), which completed its upgrading in June 2021, has incorporated new amenities that provides a welcoming community space to residents of all ages. The upgraded CC is now home to an expanded array of new facilities such as an After-School Care Centre which incorporates a new Enrichment and Education Centre, Music Room, Gym, Culinary Studio and a Nursing Room. The CC building also features a borderless boundary with a more welcoming frontage and is accessible to residents on wheelchairs or mobility devices.


Since 2021, Jurong Spring CC is also the home to the reference standard Chess club in Singapore, namely, the SGChessHub@JurongSpring and brings chess lovers together to the CC on Saturday afternoons.


Jurong Spring Community Club is proud to collaborate with the Singapore Chess Federation in its maiden efforts to bring professional competitive, improver and casual chess players through a host of chess festivities to also get to enjoy the warmth and vibrancy of the SG heartlands community here in Jurong Spring.

SGChessHub@JurongSpring

The SGChessHub@JurongSpring was birthed in 2021 as a collaboration between Jurong Spring CC and #ChessAgainstCovid with the objective, as a Chess hub, to spread the love for chess to all in Singapore and to foster solidarity and friendship within our community.

The SGChessHub@JurongSpring regularly organises a variety of chess activities to promote and grow the sport as a responsible steward towards the resources and support from the Jurong Spring Community Club. They include:

  • Chess Interest sharing by IGLs
  • Mini tournaments
  • Community tournaments
  • Thematic masterclasses/ workshops
  • Inter-club online chess challenge
  • ChessFriends@SGChessHub sessions
  • etc…
